Getting Started with Auto Keyword Linker

Get up and running in under 5 minutes. This guide covers installation, initial configuration, and your first keyword mapping.

Step 1: Install the Plugin

Option A – From WordPress.org (Free):

1. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New
2. Search for “Auto Keyword Linker”
3. Click Install Now then Activate

Option B – Premium Upload:

1. Download your auto-keyword-linker-premium.zip from your account
2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
3. Upload the ZIP file and click Install Now → Activate

Step 2: Access the Plugin Settings

After activation, find the plugin under WordPress Admin → Auto Linker in your sidebar. You’ll see the keyword management table and settings panel.

Step 3: Add Your First Keyword

1. Click Add Keyword
2. Enter your keyword (e.g., internal linking)
3. Enter the target URL (e.g., /blog/internal-linking-guide/)
4. Set the maximum links per page (recommend: 1-2)
5. Click Save

That’s it! The plugin will now automatically link that keyword throughout your site whenever it appears in post or page content.
